This session, in collaboration with the Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP), discusses surgical and endovascular strategies used to treat ischemic lower extremity wounds, with an emphasis on critical limb ischemia (CLI). It begins with an overview of CLI, including its underlying mechanisms, clinical significance, and the rationale for timely intervention. Both surgical and endovascular treatment options will be discussed, including insight into the selection and application of each approach to support wound healing and limb preservation.
