11:45 AM - 12:45 PM
Learning objectives:
• Analyze patient and wound characteristics to determine candidacy for limb preservation versus amputation.
• Apply evidence-based wound bed preparation principles across a range of wound etiologies, including appropriate use of enzymatic debridement with collagenase to support selective removal of necrotic tissue and optimize the wound healing environment.
• Evaluate the role of enzymatic debridement, skin substitutes, and negative pressure wound therapy in the management of complex wounds through case-based applications.

This session will award 0.25 pharmacotherapeutic contact hours.

HMP Education has designated an unrestricted grant from Smith+Nephew for this session.
