Hisham Ashry

Dr. Hisham Ashry, DPM is a highly accomplished, board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon specializing in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, limb salvage, and comprehensive wound care.He earned his degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine before completing his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he later served as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopedics. A dedicated researcher and thought leader, Dr. Ashry has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles and routinely lectures both nationally and internationally.Dr. Ashry’s career is marked by leadership and professional distinctions. Early on, the Texas Podiatric Medical Association named him "Young Practitioner of the Year." He has since been continuously recognized as one of "America’s Top Podiatrists" and is a Past President of the local medical societies in San Antonio, Texas, and Palm Beach County, Florida.Currently, Dr. Ashry serves on the Foot and Ankle Residency Training and Professional Education Committees at two Top 100 hospitals. He is an attending physician at two prominent regional facilities: the JFK Limb Salvage and Wound Management Center and St. Mary’s Wound and Hyperbaric Center. Deeply committed to emergency care, he remains on active trauma call for complex injuries across seven Palm Beach County hospitals. Dr. Ashry is a Member of the American Academy of Wound Management and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dan Davis DPM completed his undergraduate work at Bucknell University where he earned his B.S. in Biology and lettered four years in Track and Cross Country - serving as a team captain in each of those sports. He was All-East in 1974 and 1975, won the East Coast Conference Championship in Cross country, placed second at the IC4A championships, and placed 7th at the United States Track & Field Federation National Cross Country Championship race to become Bucknell University’s first All American in cross country. After graduating from Bucknell, Dan attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he won awards in Biomechanics, Rheumatology, and Sports Medicine. He served as chief resident at Parkview Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. After residency, he was recruited to Connecticut where he has practiced for the past 44 years. He is a past president of the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association and was elected to the American Podiatric Medical Association’s Board of Trustees in 2005. After serving on the Executive Board, he was elected President of the APMA ifrom 2015-2016. Dan practices in Bridgeport, CT with his partner, Denisa Riera DPM and is a key member of the Limb Salvage team at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He is a nationally renowned speaker in wound care and limb salvage techniques and has presented at the World Conference in Wound Care in Bremen, Germany. He lives with his wife, Mary Anne, has four children, Russell, Jeremy, Natalie, and Douglas, and four grandchildren, Maryelle, Jordan, Millie, and Annabella..

Dr Lee Goldstein is a vascular, endovascular, and wound care surgeon currently practicing in Connecticut. He obtained his medical degree from Yale Medical School and then completed training in general surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He finished his training in vascular surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital across the Cornell and Columbia Presbyterian campuses.

Dr Goldstein brings a decades-long experience in wound care with early benchtop research into cellular mechanisms of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and stem cell therapy, along with decades of practice working within wound centers and performing wound care surgery. He has dozens of peer reviewed publications in vascular surgery and wound healing, and is currently the Fairfield regional medical director for wound care in Connecticut.
