Dr. Hisham Ashry, DPM is a highly accomplished, board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon specializing in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, limb salvage, and comprehensive wound care.He earned his degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine before completing his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he later served as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopedics. A dedicated researcher and thought leader, Dr. Ashry has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles and routinely lectures both nationally and internationally.Dr. Ashry’s career is marked by leadership and professional distinctions. Early on, the Texas Podiatric Medical Association named him "Young Practitioner of the Year." He has since been continuously recognized as one of "America’s Top Podiatrists" and is a Past President of the local medical societies in San Antonio, Texas, and Palm Beach County, Florida.Currently, Dr. Ashry serves on the Foot and Ankle Residency Training and Professional Education Committees at two Top 100 hospitals. He is an attending physician at two prominent regional facilities: the JFK Limb Salvage and Wound Management Center and St. Mary’s Wound and Hyperbaric Center. Deeply committed to emergency care, he remains on active trauma call for complex injuries across seven Palm Beach County hospitals. Dr. Ashry is a Member of the American Academy of Wound Management and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
