Will My Wound Heal: Predicting Healing and When to Use Adjunctive Care

A wound specialist does not continue the same treament over and over again, over weeks to months, and expect different results. This session will review the literature on predictors of wound healing for chronic wounds. How and when to identify "nonresponders" to standard of care, and then when to add in advanced modalities such as topical growth factors, CAMPs, and biophysical modalities will be discussed, along with reimbursement requirements for these additional treatments.
