RAPID FIRE: Creativity in Off Loading Techniques

Offloading the ulcerated foot of the patient with diabetes presents challenges in the outpatient setting. While contact casting and offloading boots are the ideal standard, they are not always available and practical in real world practice. This session will look at alternative methods of offloading, specifically focusing on adhesive felt and a unique procedure referred to as a "football" wrap. Visual examples and patient cases will be presented.
