Pharmacology in Wound Care: Assessing and Treating Wound Pain

This session will focus on the comprehensive assessment and effective management of wound-related pain across diverse patient populations. Faculty will review the underlying mechanisms of wound pain, evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, and strategies for individualized care. Attendees will gain practical tools to improve patient comfort, enhance healing, and elevate the overall quality of wound care.

This session will award 0.50 pharmacotherapeutic contact hours.
