Overcoming Challenges in Assessing and Managing Lower Extremity Wounds: Hands-On Workshop

Chronic wounds of the lower extremities are occurring with increasing prevalence due to an aging population coupled with the increasing incidence of vascular disease associated risk factors. This hands-on workshop will offer experiential learning through product demonstrations of common and novel treatments for lower extremity wounds including debridement technologies, compression, topical oxygen and negative pressure wound therapies and Cellular, Acellular and Matrix-Like products.
A maximum of 3.25 additional CME/CPME/CE-credit hours are offered through this hands-on workshop. This event is not part of the official SAWC meeting programming and provides separate continuing education credits.
