Compliance in mobile wound care extends far beyond the clinic—and understanding what is and isn’t permitted across different points of service (POS) is essential. This session focuses on the distinct legal and regulatory challenges faced by mobile providers, including HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and payer-specific requirements unique to care delivered on the move. Faculty will outline practical strategies for maintaining compliant documentation, accurate coding, and audit-ready records while safeguarding patient privacy and provider safety in dynamic, real-world environments.
