Accredited Industry-Supported Symposium Breakfast: Building the Foundation for Healing: The CAMPs Readiness Algorithm for Risk Stratification, Wound Bed Preparation, and Treatment Decision-Making
90 min
Saturday, October 17, 2026
7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
HMP Education has designated an unrestricted grant from Organogenesis Inc. for this session.
Learning Objectives:
1) Apply evidence-based assessment strategies to accurately diagnose chronic wounds, including vascular evaluation, nutritional assessment, prognostic indicators, and diagnostic imaging to guide treatment planning and risk stratification.
2) Implement foundational wound bed preparation principles by incorporating appropriate debridement, biofilm management, and moisture balance strategies to optimize healing potential and prepare patients for advanced therapies, including CAMPs.
3) Evaluate treatment effectiveness and clinical decision-making through the use of wound measurement, including four-week area reduction benchmarks, and case-based application of established guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
