<b>Learning Objectives:</b><br>
1. Review the current standard of care and treatment approaches for patients with arterial ulcers associated with peripheral arterial disease (PAD).<br>
2. Examine the scientific rationale and clinical development of plasmid DNA therapy, including key findings from two decades of clinical investigation.<br>
3. Analyze the design, methodology, and clinical outcomes of the LEGEND-1 registrational trial evaluating investigational gene therapy in patients with moderate peripheral arterial disease and ulcers.<br>
4. Evaluate wound validation methodologies and review clinical case data from the pivotal trial to better understand patient selection, wound assessment, and treatment outcomes.
