Adam P. Wright, M.D., a born and raised Texan, graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Science and History in 2010 before attending Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2014. Dr. Wright completed his residency at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas followed by a joint replacement fellowship at the Tahoe Arthroplasty Fellowship in Reno, Nevada. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He practices at Plano Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center in the suburbs of Dallas.

Dr. Wright focuses primarily on hip and knee replacement surgery and practices state-of-the-art and innovative techniques including robotic-assisted surgery, custom or patient specific implants and instrumentation, complex cases, revisions, and minimally invasive techniques like the subvastus knee and direct anterior hip approach to allow patients to recover more rapidly and with less pain compared to conventional methods. He is an industry consultant and published author and has presented at conferences throughout the United States.

Dr. Wright is married to his wife, Joy, and they have four young children (two older girls and a set of boy/girl twins). When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, water sports, staying fit, barbequing, and reading.
