Dr. Jill Cox is a Clinical Professor at Rutgers University School of Nursing and maintains an active clinical practice as a Wound, Ostomy, Continence Advanced Practice Nurse at Englewood Health, Englewood, NJ. She is a current member of the Board of Directors for the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel. Dr. Cox was recently appointed to the U.S.A. Guidelines Governance Group for the development of the 2024 International Pressure Injury Prevention and Treatment Clinical Practice Guideline. She also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the journal Advances in Skin and Wound Care, and is the USA representative for the education committee for the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists. Dr. Cox is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and is actively engaged in a published program of research focused on pressure injuries, with a specific focus on pressure injury risk in the critically ill and hospitalized populations.
