The Official Meeting of Wounds
Cassandre Voltaire, DO, ABWMS is a board-certified family medicine physician with advanced training in wound care and geriatrics. She provides wound care in skilled nursing and long-term care settings, where her work focuses on improving clinical consistency, strengthening interdisciplinary communication, and helping teams prevent avoidable complications through practical, evidence-based systems.
Drawing on her experience as both a certified nursing assistant and physician, Dr. Voltaire brings a frontline perspective to wound prevention, documentation, and clinical escalation. She is passionate about translating complex wound care principles into practical strategies that can be implemented across disciplines and sustained despite staffing challenges.
Dr. Voltaire is the founder of the WoundFit Community, an educational initiative supporting clinicians in developing confidence and competence in wound care, and the creator of the NoGuess™ Wound Care System, a physician-led education and implementation program designed to help skilled nursing facilities build sustainable systems for wound prevention, documentation, and survey readiness.
As a speaker, Dr. Voltaire is committed to making wound care education practical, engaging, and immediately applicable to everyday clinical practice.
