2026 Sessions

Innovation Theater Lunch: From Policy Shifts to Patient Outcomes: How Level 1 RCT Evidence for Cellular Tissue Products Translate into Real-World Solutions for Patient and Provider (non-accredited)

Join us for an evidence-driven discussion on how a bioengineered living cellular tissue product can help close DFUs and VLUs faster, along with a treatment algorithm that includes the use of a native ECM with PHMB as an antimicrobial barrier. Expert panelists will cut through the complexity of today’s wound care landscape, including evolving CMS policies, heightened evidence expectations, and the FDA pathways that shape how products reach clinical practice. The discussion will clarify the value and differences among RCTs, real-world evidence, R&D data, and patient-centered decision-making to improve outcomes. Through practical case examples, panelists will share their experience in guiding treatment strategies across care settings. Learning objectives: 1. Review the latest research and clinical evidence including Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs), Real-World Evidence (RWE) and the latest R&D benchtop data 2. Gain actionable insights for using evidence-based approaches to advance care and help establish a new standard in wound healing. Sponsored by Organogenesis.
