For over three decades, Dr. Li has led breakthrough efforts in medical innovation and is a sought-after clinician, advisor, consultant, and lecturer. Li attended Harvard College, Harvard Medical School, Harvard Business School, M.I.T., and Cambridge University (England). He was a Scientific Fellow of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. With a clinical specialty in tissue regeneration and repair, medical and surgical dermatology, and cancer, Li holds an Assistant Professorship at Harvard Medical School. He has gained wide recognition for developing treatment innovations in human and animal health and received numerous honors including the Paul Dudley White Award, the MIT-Japan Science & Technology Prize, the top award from the American Academy of Dermatology and the highest recognition from the New England Cancer Society. Li is co-founder of the Angiogenesis Foundation, dedicated to unlocking the mysteries and promise of angiogenesis, the growth of new blood vessels in the body. The Foundation has conducted / catalyzed research that has generated some of the most effective medications for cancer, eye disease, and regenerative medicine, benefiting millions of people.
