Michael Bain

Michael Bain, MD, MMS is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the Medical Director of The Sally and Joseph Warpinski Outpatient Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach and Irvine, CA. He is a graduate of UCLA and received his Doctorate in Medicine and master’s degree in medical science from Hahnemann University College of Medicine. Dr. Bain is a frequent guest speaker and presents both nationally and internationally on plastic surgery and advanced wound care.
Description: Join us for a data-driven presentation, followed by a hands-on product application workshop as we discuss and learn how the integration of scientific research and evidence-based practice is transforming wound care. This program will dive into clinical decision-making while addressing bioburden and biofilm, and how to support wound closure in acute and chronic wounds with the use of cellular and tissue-based products. Following the lecture, we will bridge the gap between theory and practice and translate your knowledge into real-world experience through an interactive, hands-on wet lab.
