Intended Learners

The International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET) is designed for interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, interventional neuroradiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, clinical cardiologists, clinical radiologists, neurologists, internists, nurses, and others involved in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Learning Objectives

After successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: 

  • List evidence-based medicine criteria that reflects the best techniques and devices to treat cardiovascular disease
  • Explain the benefits of medical management and the use of multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes of endovascular therapy
  • Illustrate optimal noninvasive diagnostic techniques to diagnose, plan treatment for, and follow cardiovascular disease
  • Describe principles and techniques of venous intervention including DVT, filters, and dialysis procedures
  • Distinguish the best methods to diagnose and manage patients with critical limb ischemia
  • Differentiate advanced techniques and treatment for complex aneurysms
  • Compare advanced techniques to treat complex cases of chronic total occlusions
  • Contrast the simple and complex arterial access for the performance of diverse endovascular procedures
  • Recognize when and how to apply new techniques to treat aortic dissection

Activity Overview

To be eligible for documentation of credit for each session attended, participants must participate in the activity and complete the online general survey and the online evaluation by March 25, 2024. Upon completing the activity, there will be instructions on how to complete the evaluation and print a certificate or other documentation of credit.
