Intended Learners

The International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET) is designed for interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, interventional neuroradiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, clinical cardiologists, clinical radiologists, neurologists, internists, nurses, and others involved in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Learning Objectives

After successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: 

  • List evidence-based medicine criteria that reflects the best techniques and devices to treat cardiovascular disease
  • Explain the benefits of medical management and the use of multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes of endovascular therapy
  • Illustrate optimal noninvasive diagnostic techniques to diagnose, plan treatment for, and follow cardiovascular disease
  • Describe principles and techniques of venous intervention including DVT, filters, and dialysis procedures
  • Distinguish the best methods to diagnose and manage patients with critical limb ischemia
  • Differentiate advanced techniques and treatment for complex aneurysms
  • Compare advanced techniques to treat complex cases of chronic total occlusions
  • Contrast the simple and complex arterial access for the performance of diverse endovascular procedures
  • Recognize when and how to apply new techniques to treat aortic dissection

The International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy taking place live February 2–5, 2025, is pending submission for ARRT Cat A+ Continuing Education credits by the Association of Vascular & Interventional Radiographers (AVIR). AVIR is an ARRT Recognized Continuing Education Evaluating Mechanism (RCEEM).

This activity will also be submitted for ARRT Structured Education credit distribution. Once approved, the official distribution categories will be found within the ARRT Search Tool and a list will be posted here.

American Medical Association (AMA) Physicians Recognition Award, Category I CME meets the requirements of the ARDMS Accepted Continuing Education Evaluation Model System (AACEEMS). You may submit your CME credits to ARDMS.

Requirements for Credit 

To be eligible for documentation of credit for each session attended, learners must participate in the activity and complete the session and overall conference evaluations, and post-test(s) if applicable. Participants who complete the evaluation(s) online within 30 days of the conference will receive documentation of credit.Your certificate may not load if you are accessing it from a smartphone or if your browser settings do not allow a new tab/window to open.  

Once a certificate has been claimed, physicians and pharmacists may elect for credits to be submitted on their behalf to their boards via additional fields that will appear within the Claim Certificate page. Credits must be submitted through this process to be reported to the American Board of Surgery and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
