Interest in the intersection of women’s mental health, ADHD, and hormonal shifts has surged, yet research remains limited and guidance inconsistent. This session provides a clear, evidence-informed overview of emerging knowledge on how estrogen and progesterone influence attention, impulsivity, mood, and stimulant response across the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, perinatal period, and perimenopause. Faculty will also explore ADHD’s impact on sexual health and behavior, as well as practical considerations for prescribing stimulants, non-stimulants, and hormonal treatments. Participants will gain actionable strategies for navigating care amid evolving science and persistent research gaps.
