6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Suicide, overdose, and alcohol-related mortality are rising nationwide, leaving not only families but also clinicians carrying profound, often unspoken grief. This session, presented with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), offers a supportive space for health care professionals to acknowledge and process the loss of patients. Through poetry, narrative reflection, and collective remembrance, participants will honor those who have died while exploring evidence-based strategies for clinician healing, including WILD 5 wellness practices, peer support, mentorship, and rituals of remembrance. The session concludes with an invitation to join the “Out of the Darkness” Walk, affirming community, connection, and hope.
Session developed in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
