Determining when to initiate pharmacotherapy versus emphasizing behavioral and lifestyle interventions is a key challenge in ADHD treatment. This session will explore how clinicians can make informed first-line treatment decisions, considering symptom severity, patient preference, and co-occurring conditions. Faculty will discuss the role of stimulant and non-stimulant medications, alongside evidence-based behavioral strategies, coaching, and environmental modifications to create personalized, flexible treatment plans that optimize long-term outcomes.
