Dr. Anne Marie Morse is board certified neurologist with special qualifications in child neurology and fellowship trained and board certified sleep medicine specialist. She holds many positions within and outside of her healthcare system and in known as a leading healthcare innovator, disruptor and changemaker. She serves as the Director of Child Neurology and Pediatric Sleep Medicine, and program director of the child neurology residency at Geisinger (Danville, Pennsylvania). Despite her pediatric titles, she maintains a significant clinical interest and practice in pediatric and adult patients with sleep wake disorders, specifically hypersomnolence disorders. Her research and publications represent the reach she has across healthcare and range from clinical trials in novel pharmacologic agents, exploration of the relationship of sleep and circadian science across neurologic and non-neurologic disorders and examination of specific sleep disorders. She is also the author of the Forbes published best selling book “Communication in Healthcare: Charting the Course to Better Outcomes with Trust, Respect and Teamwork”. In addition, Dr Morse’s commitment to sleep health extends into the community. She serves as the chairman of the Board of Directors for the global advocacy organization, the Wellness, Sleep & Circadian Network (WSCN), Finally, Dr. Morse also created Sleep to Be Well, the first and only responsive, modular remote command center model for sleep and circadian education and screening. Ultimately, Dr. Morse envisions a world where sleep and circadian health can be acknowledged as the vital sign of health, wellness, and performance that it is designed to be.
