Benji is the Outreach Manager for the Gooden Center, a nonprofit mental health and addiction treatment facility in Pasadena, California. In this role, he plays a key part in connecting individuals facing substance use and mental health disorders with essential recovery resources and services. His personal journey of recovery, along with his experience as a suicide survivor, has provided him with profound insights into the causes, consequences, and pathways to supporting individuals in crisis and enhancing mental health awareness. Previously, Benji served as a board member for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Orange County, where he advocated for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
