Dr. Helen Peterson is a developmental psychologist. She holds two Master's degrees and a PhD. For the last 15+ years Dr. Peterson has been working as a research scientist, focused on improving outcomes for children and families through program evaluation, strategic planning, and technical assistance. She has published peer-reviewed papers, briefs, and reports, and enjoys engaging diverse audiences with scientific concepts and findings. Dr. Peterson was diagnosed with depression at age 18 and has spent almost 30 years managing the disorder more or less well.
