Dr John Moriarty is an Interventional Radiologist and Associate Professor of Radiology and Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is the Director of the UCLA P.E. Response Team, IVC Filter Clinic and the Program for Interventional Innovation. His main clinical and research practice relate to DVT, IVC filters, PE and arterial/aortic interventions. He has given over 100 invited lectures around the world and has over 70 peer reviewed publications. He is the principal investigator on several trials, predominantly related to VTE, including RAPID and STRIKE PE
