Nicos Labropoulos

Dr. John S. Pellerito is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiology as well as the Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program and Director of the Peripheral Vascular Laboratory at Northwell Health. He is also the Medical Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography School at Northwell Health. He is Professor of Radiology and Science Education at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and is co-director of the SONICS ultrasound program for medical students at the University. Dr. Pellerito graduated from New York University before receiving his M.D. from Albany Medical College. He is the co-editor of Introduction to Vascular Ultrasonography, in its 7th edition. He is the author of multiple original articles and book chapters, and his current research interests include developing new imaging strategies for OB/GYN and cardiovascular diseases including 3D imaging and ultrasound contrast agents. Dr. Pellerito is in great demand as a speaker both nationally and internationally and currently holds multiple editorial appointments including Radiology, RadioGraphics and Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine. He was a board examiner for the American Board of Radiology. He serves as the President-elect for the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and is currently President of the Vascular Testing Board for the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).

Yolanda Bryce, MD, RPVI completed her Medical School training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 2009, followed by a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2014, a subspecialty training in Breast Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in 2015, and a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute in 2016. She joined the faculty at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in August 2016 where she pioneers minimally invasive cryoablation technique to treat locoregional disease in patients that are poor surgical candidates or refuse surgery and works in a multidisciplinary team to expand treatment options for patients with metastatic breast cancer through interventional oncology. She also specializes in vascular disease in oncologic patients, boarded through the American Board of Vascular Medicine and holding a Registered Physician Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certification. In 2018, she became the founding director of MSKCC’s Noninvasive Vascular Imaging Center and started the institution’s PAD program improving mobility and quality of life of some of the most vulnerable patients – those with both cancer and life-limiting PAD. Her PAD screening trial examines the prevalence and disparities of PAD in at-risk cancer patients. She is President Elect of the Cardiovascular Imaging and Intervention Council at the American Heart Association.

He is the Vascular Laboratory director and has a major interest in pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of London. He did his clinical training, PHD and vascular fellowship at St. Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College, London, UK. Professor Labropoulos is on the editorial board of 11 journals and a reviewer for >20 medical and surgical journals. He has been a traveling fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, the recipient of the Presidential award of the Society of Vascular Surgery, the IUA Hippocrates medal, UIP gold medal, the Sushrutha award and AVF Founder's award. He has more than 350 publications being cited over 25000 times and he has given more than 1500 presentations around the world. He has edited 7 vascular textbooks and has contributed over 68 book chapters on the diagnosis and management of vascular diseases. He has received many awards and has obtained over 10 million dollars in grants. He is actively involved on vascular training through the American and European vascular societies and many other local, national and international organizations. He has supervised many PHD students and he is an examiner in multiple countries. He is a co-founder of the Institute of Vascular Diseases and Venous Health Foundation. Dr. Labropoulos gives lectures in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Greek.

Dr. Madassery is an Associate Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and Rush Oak Park Hospital. He is the Director of The Advanced VIR Fellowship, the Director of Peripheral Vascular Interventions & CLTI Limb Preservation Program and the IVC Filter Clinic at Rush. Recently, is now Medical Director of VIR at Rush Oak Park Hospital.

He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School, and both Radiology Residency and VIR Fellowship at Rush. Recently inducted as Fellow of the Society of interventional Radiology (FSIR) & the International Andreas Gruentzig Society (IAGS).

He has authored and co-authored numerous articles, and plethora of grand rounds & educational presentations nationally/globally. He is deeply involved with SIR, serving on Standards and Practices, current Chair of the SIR PAD Specialty Council, on the SIR Annual Meeting Committee and other roles. He reviewes for Journals such as JVIR, JSV-CIT, Journal of CLI, Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine & a Board member of the Alliance for Wound Care Stakeholders, in Washington, D.C.

Much of his practice is dedicated to Critical Limb Ischemia Revascularization and Limb Preservation. Recently, he published a multidisciplinary Comprehensive Limb Preservation Guidebook, entitled Limb Preservation for the Vascular Specialist, with over 60 co-authors. Other interests include Complex IVC Filter Retrievals, Dialysis Interventions, Venous Reconstructions, and Interventional Oncology. He founded and Directs the Peripheral Vascular Trainees Lab (PVTL), which had its Inagural meeting in 2024. Most importantly, he is joyously married, and father to two amazing children.

Dr. Raghu Kolluri, MD, serves as the System Chief of Vascular Medicine at OhioHealth, where he oversees the vascular division of the cardiovascular service line, driving quality, innovation, and system-wide clinical excellence. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he remains deeply engaged in teaching and mentorship. As President of Syntropic Core Lab, Dr. Kolluri is a clinical trialist who advises on multiple ongoing vascular clinical trials and contributes to advancing evidence-based practice in vascular medicine. A past president of both the Society for Vascular Medicine and The VIVA Foundation, he has been recognized with the prestigious Master of the Society for Vascular Medicine (MSVM) designation. Dr. Kolluri also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Intersocietal Accreditation Council for Vascular Testing. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, including in The New England Journal of Medicine and Circulation, as well as book chapters, scientific abstracts, and clinical guidelines.

Laurence Needleman was born in the Bronx, studied Philosophy as an undergraduate at Cornell, moved around, and landed in Philadelphia to work at Thomas Jefferson University. He trained in Radiology at Cornell Medical Center and was a fellow at Jefferson in Body Imaging. He is Professor of Radiology. He was the second Division Director of Ultrasound until 2025 (after Dr. Barry Goldberb. He is the Radiology Co-Director of the Jefferson Vascular Center (Divisions of Vascular Medicine, Vascular Surgery, Radiology). He is the Medical Director of the Vascular Sonography and General Sonography programs at the Jefferson College of Health Professions. He had held positions on the IAC-VT board, SVU board, and JRC-CVT, and on ACR and other societal committees. He is a fellow of the ACR, AIUM, SRU, and SVU. He likes hemodynamics, especially vortices.

Dr. Olin is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Director of Vascular Medicine and Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital.

Dr. Olin is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Vascular Medicine. Dr. Olin is a past president of the Society for Vascular Medicine and has been awarded the highest honor from that society, Master of the Society for Vascular Medicine. Dr. Olin received the inaugural Jess R. Young, M.D., Teaching Award from the Society for Vascular Medicine, and he also received the Simon Dack, M.D., Teaching Award from the fellows at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital. Dr. Olin received the 2016 Peripheral Vascular Disease Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Heart Association.

Dr. Olin has authored 308 scientific papers in the peer-reviewed literature, three books, and more than 80 book chapters. He has served on many writing committees of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. He chaired the writing committee on Performance Measures in Peripheral Artery Disease and the Scientific Statement from the American Heart Association on fibromuscular dysplasia. He has published in the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Circulation, Journal of the American Medical Association, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, European Heart Journal, among others. He is a past Associate Editor of the journal Vascular Medicine and Associate Editor for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. He was the Editor of the textbook Peripheral Vascular Diseases.
