8:00 AM - 9:05 AM
Organ transplantation saves lives ---but for many patients, complex wound challenges follow. Immunosuppressive therapy, incrreased infection risk, atypical clinical presentations, and altered healing responses create a distinctly different wound care landscape in this population. This interactive, case-based session explores real world scenarios that highlight the diagnostic and management complexities of post-transplant wounds. Participants will gain practical strategies to recognize subtle warning signs, tailor treatment plans, and confidently manage wounds in immunocompromised patients to improve outcomes and protect graft function.
