Maggie Lancaster Carpenter

Dr. Maggie Carpenter, PT, DPT, CWS graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2012 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. It was there that she found a love for wound care and was thrilled to begin practicing wound care full time in 2016 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Dr. Carpenter has been a Certified Wound Specialist through the American Board of Wound Management since 2018. She is a Board-certified Wound Management Clinical Specialist with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2024. She is a member of the APTA and Academy of Electrophysiolgy and Wound Management section member. She enjoys teaching and providing wound care education to pretty much anyone who is willing to listen to her whether it's patients, family members, students, coworkers, or random strangers who happen to ask her what she does for a living. When not at work, Maggie enjoys spending time with her husband and children, dog and backyard chickens.
