Anger and irritability are often overlooked in psychiatric care, despite their prevalence and impact across mood, anxiety, personality, and neurodevelopmental disorders. This session will explore the neurobiology of anger, its role in psychiatric presentations, and evidence-based strategies for assessment and management. Faculty will provide practical guidance on pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic approaches, offering tools to help clinicians better address these neglected emotions and improve patient outcomes.
