Frontline Hodgkin Lymphoma: Universal Checkpoint Inhibition or Selective Use?

The frontline treatment landscape for classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) is undergoing a significant transformation with the integration of PD-1 checkpoint inhibitors into curative-intent therapy. Emerging data have demonstrated improved progression-free survival and favorable tolerability with nivolumab-based regimens, raising important questions regarding the role of universal versus selective checkpoint inhibition across disease stages and patient populations.
