SHEILA MAITLAND, LCMHCS, CSAT, CPTT, has been working with individuals, couples, groups and families for more than 30 years. She is the founder and owner of Relationship Enrichment Center, a group practice that relies heavily on family systems theory, experiential therapy and faith. Sheila and her staff work as a team to support clients connect with themselves, and confront anything they use to numb and medicate, including painful patterns of of thinking and behavior.
Sheila has also obtained her CSAT and CPTT credential in 2016 to help those who struggle with disordered intimacy. These extensive certifications enable her to work with sex addicts, the partner and/or the couple. When individuals and or couples find themselves in the chaos of porn, sex addiction, and betrayal, they need to work with someone properly trained to work with such a sophisticated illness.
Sheila has been a consulting therapist and supervisor with the nationally recognized Onsite Workshops, and has enjoyed being a part of their organization throughout her career. In addition, Sheila provides continuing education to groups of clinicians, therapists, professional healers where she provides monthly and quarterly group training. These trainings support professionals in learning and applying experiential therapy techniques with groups, individuals, couples and families.
Sheila’s group practice is in Matthews, NC. Sheila enjoys a rich marriage and family life with her husband, son and Golden Retriever.
