Dr Snyder is Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. His practice is entirely devoted to sex and relationship concerns. He’s been a frequent guest on major media and a regular contributor to Huffington Post and PsychologyToday. He's written for The Times of London, AARP, Readers Digest, Bride’s Magazine, and New York Magazine; been interviewed in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Elle, Cosmo, and Vogue, among many others; and in 2012 hosted Dolce & Gabbana’s international launch of their new fragrance, “Desire,” in St Petersburg, Russia.
In 2018, Dr Snyder was awarded the Nautilus Gold Book Award for Relationships and Communication for his first book, Love Worth Making - How to Have Ridiculously Great Sex in a Long-Lasting Relationship. Dr Jennifer Ashton from ABC’s Good Morning America wrote, “Love Worth Making does for sex therapy what Hamilton did for the Broadway musical. This playful yet profound book reminds us that sex should be easy – and can be, once we learn to get out of our own way.”
