David Russler‐Germain, MD/PhD, is an Instructor in the Division of Oncology at Siteman Cancer Center, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from Stanford University. He then joined the Medical Scientist Training Program at Washington University School of Medicine, where he received a PhD in molecular genetics and genomics as well as his MD. His graduate school training was in the laboratory of Dr. Timothy Ley, studying the molecular consequences of DNMT3A mutations in acute myeloid leukemia. He continued on at Barnes‐Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine for his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship training. In the laboratory setting, he works with Dr. Todd Fehniger studying B‐cell lymphoma genomics and pathogenesis, as well as exploring novel MRD testing and immunotherapies for blood cancers. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He independently cares for patients with lymphoma at Siteman Cancer Center. His research has been published in Cancer Cell, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Science Translational Medicine, and Blood Advances among other journals. He is the recipient of Lymphoma Research Foundation as well as American Society of Clinical Oncology awards. He is the principal investigator of multiple investigator-initiated trials exploring bispecific antibodies in B‐cell lymphomas.
