Amanda Ward, MA, EMT-P, is the Associate Dean of Public Safety at Crafton Hills College, where she oversees Emergency Medical Services, Fire Technology, and related public safety programs. She has served as a paramedic for over 20 years in both public and private EMS systems, bringing deep operational insight and real-world experience to her leadership and teaching.
Under her leadership, public safety education in the region has been strengthened with a special emphasis on mental health and wellness, incorporating trauma-informed practices, student support strategies, and workforce-focused program development.
Amanda currently serves as a Commissioner with the California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) and is a recipient of the EMSA Distinguished Service Medal, recognizing her leadership, advocacy, and sustained contributions to advancing emergency medical services in California.
