CE Accreditation

EMS World Expo is an Organizational Provider for the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) (#EMSM0012). Most presentations and courses provided by EMS World Expo are accredited for continuing education units (CEUs).

All CAPCE-approved classes are accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) to be applied toward recertification requirements. The number of CEUs awarded for each presentation varies based on the length of the course. There is no official cap on the number of CE credits attendees can earn at EMS World Expo. Please check with your specific state to determine if they accept CAPCE-approved CEUs for state license recertification.

ASTNA Accreditation

Select presentations are accredited by the Air and Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA). ASTNA is an approved provider for the California Board of Registered Nursing CEP 13575.

How to Claim Credit

How to Obtain CE Credits at EMS World Expo

1. Locate and install the CAPCE Mobile App (located on the App Store or Google Play)

2. Create your account with at least one EMS credential (State License, National Registry, or NEMSID)

3. At the conclusion of each live session, open the app and tap “Scan QR” on the home screen. (**Using your phone camera will not work**)

4. Hold the QR code provided by the presenter and/or room monitor in the scan field

5. Scanning is automatic. A green banner reading “Course Recorded” confirms the credit was submitted.

Accessing Your Certificates and Importing Records to National Registry

1. Open “Records” in your CAPCE mobile app to view your CE history and download completion certificates.

2. To sync your courses into your National Registry profile, visit the National Registry site, log into your account, and navigate to the Transcript page. Click “Import CACPE Courses.” Note: your National Registry Number and identifying information must be consistent across both accounts.

Offering Course Feedback to EMS World and Downloading EMS World-brandedCertificates

1. Visit ally.emsworld.com

2. Click “Register” (new accounts) or “Sign In” (existing accounts)

3. Enter the one-time passcode that is e-mailed to you

4. Your completed courses appear on your dashboard.  Fill out a course evaluation for each and download your certificate of attendance.
