CE Accreditation

CAPCE Accreditation

EMS World Expo is an Organizational Provider for the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) (#EMSM0012). Most presentations and courses provided by EMS World Expo are accredited for continuing education units (CEUs).

All CAPCE-approved classes are accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) to be applied toward recertification requirements. The number of CEUs awarded for each presentation varies based on the length of the course. There is no official cap on the number of CE credits attendees can earn at EMS World Expo. Please check with your specific state to determine if they accept CAPCE-approved CEUs for state license recertification.

CAPCE represents that this program has met standards for accreditation and does not endorse the opinions or content presented. For more information or to register a concern, go to capce.org/CertificateTrouble/Index

ASTNA Accreditation

Select presentations are accredited by the Air and Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA). ASTNA is an approved provider for the California Board of Registered Nursing CEP 13575.

How to Obtain CE Credits

To obtain CEU credit, you must:

  1. Have your badge scanned upon entering each presentation.
  2. Attend the entire session.
  3. Log into the EMS World Learning Management System (LMS)
  4. Select the presentation you attended.
  5. Complete the student course evaluation for the presentation.
  6. Repeat steps 4–5 for each presentation you attended.

A completion certificate for each course or comprehensive transcript can be downloaded from the LMS.

Attendees who complete these steps will have their information submitted to CAPCE. CAPCE will then submit the information to the NREMT website. Please allow 30 days for course completion information to be uploaded from CAPCE to the NREMT website. Certificates and transcripts can be printed immediately upon completion during that time.

Please maintain a copy of your login credentials and password so you can access the LMS as needed to obtain your certifications or transcript.
