Why Attend

Key Features

EMS World Expo

Compared to Other EMS Meetings

Overall Scope Large, multi‑day EMS–dedicated event with a full 5 days of activity (preconference + main conference) and thousands of attendees from across the U.S. and abroad. Often region or country-focused meetings with smaller footprints, fewer total days, and more limited programming schedules.
Educational Breadth Broad program built around multiple learning tracks, including Fundamentals, Clinical, Critical Care, Community Paramedicine, Operations, Leadership & Management, Education, Health & Wellness, and Research. Many events emphasize a narrower slice of practice (e.g., state protocols, leadership only, critical care only, or physician/medical director content).  EMS World Expo remains the only EMS meeting with the level of breadth across nine distinct learning tracks.
Audience Mix Designed for the full EMS team: EMTs, paramedics, supervisors, chiefs, educators, medical directors, nurses, and other pre-hospital clinicians. Frequently more targeted audiences, such as state‑licensed providers, EMS physicians, executives, or a single level of provider.  Most do not bring together the full breadth of roles represented at Expo.
Program Depth Dozens of hours of education running in parallel, from entry‑level refreshers to advanced clinical, operations, education, and research content. Many providers are able to complete a full year of CME at Expo and take advantage of additional certification courses. Educational offerings vary by event and are often narrower in scope, with fewer total sessions and less coverage from entry-level to advanced topics in a single meeting.  Very few provide enough courses to cover an entire year of CME in one event.
Exhibit Hall Large, dedicated EMS Exhibit Hall with hundreds of exhibitors, including vehicles, equipment, technology, education, and service partners, with extended floor hours. Trade show sizes vary widely, and most events have significantly smaller halls with fewer exhibitors and categories represented. No other EMS conference offers an exhibit footprint comparable to EMS World Expo.
International Reach Draws attendees and faculty from many countries each year, with content and networking that reflect a global EMS community. Typically draw primarily national or regional audiences, with some international visitors depending on the event.
