Dr. Jaimee Robinson is a Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared nurse educator with more than 26 years of experience in labor and delivery, perinatal quality improvement, and interdisciplinary education. She developed and expanded a region-wide obstetric and neonatal simulation training program for EMS providers, with over 500 EMS providers across the DC/Maryland/Virginia region trained to date. This comprehensive curriculum, which integrates obstetric, neonatal, and trauma content, strengthens clinical judgment and improves readiness for high-risk maternal–newborn emergencies. The program has fostered successful EMS–hospital collaboration, streamlining communication and handoff accuracy, and improving continuity of care between prehospital and inpatient settings. Dr. Robinson has been recognized for her Outstanding Contribution to EMS and is regarded as a subject matter expert, with national presentations and peer-reviewed publications focused on EMS obstetric education and simulation-based training.
