Diving Deeper: Understanding HBOT in Chronic Refractory Osteomyelitis

This session will examine the role of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) as an adjunctive treatment option in the management of chronic refractory osteomyelitis. Participants will review the physiologic principles of HBOT, patient selection considerations, treatment protocols, and its coordination within an interdisciplinary plan of care. The session will also explore current evidence, clinical considerations, and practical factors involved in incorporating HBOT into the management of complex, infection-driven wounds.
