10:45 AM - 12:15 PM
Session Description: This session is structured to assist practicing clinicians in understanding the unique relationship between OCD and addiction. OCD is often underdiagnosed in individuals with addictive disorders and overlooked as a catalyst for further suffering. Many treatment modalities for substance use disorders may be unhelpful or even hurtful when not considering this additional complexity within some patients. This session is designed to assist clinicians in recognizing the signs and symptoms of co-occurring addiction and OCD and how to structure treatment plans accordingly.
