Organizations unaffiliated with the West Coast Symposium occasionally promote events and activities as though they are associated with the conference when they are not. In some cases, these organizations have also used the West Coast Symposium name and logo without authorization. For example, the West Coast Symposium produces only one official golf tournament as part of the conference experience. We take these matters seriously, particularly when unofficial activities are scheduled during educational sessions or exhibit hall hours, as they directly detract from the experience thoughtfully created by the speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and supporters who invest significant time and resources into the conference each year.

These unofficial events can create confusion among attendees and undermine the sense of community and collaboration that the West Coast Symposium works hard to foster annually. We encourage attendees to participate only in activities that do not conflict with the official conference agenda and to spend their valuable time engaging with the exhibitors, sponsors, and educational programming that support the conference experience.
