2:15 PM - 5:45 PM
Complex lower extremity wounds can be challenging to manage, particularly when impaired circulation, infection, tissue loss, or underlying conditions delay healing. This immersive, hands-on workshop will connect comprehensive assessment with individualized treatment planning, from wound bed preparation to advanced therapies. Through clinical cases, interactive demonstrations, and guided skill-building exercises, attendees will explore debridement methods, dressing selection for moisture and bioburden management, compression therapy and edema control, offloading, negative pressure wound therapy, topical oxygen therapy, and the application of skin substitutes/CAMPs. Learners will examine how these approaches work together to prepare the wound bed, address underlying factors, and support wound closure.

HMP Education has designated unrestricted educational grants from AOTI; Medaxis LLC; and XSONX LLC to support this activity.
