Accredited Industry-Supported Hands-on Workshop: APP Academy: Building a Comprehensive Approach to Chronic Edema

The APP Academy is designed for advanced practice providers caring for patients with chronic edema, particularly phlebolymphedema. This clinically focused program explores lymphatic anatomy and physiology, the relationship between chronic venous insufficiency and lymphatic dysfunction, and practical approaches to recognizing and diagnosing these conditions. Participants will examine evidence-based, multidisciplinary management strategies, including appropriate patient selection for basic and advanced pneumatic compression devices. Through practical guidance on evaluation, treatment planning, and long-term management, the academy will equip APPs to develop a chronic edema protocol for their clinical setting and support continuity of care.
