Session Description: The Tennessee Dangerous Drugs Task Force (TDDTF) was established in 1999 and operates as part of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Drug Investigation Division. Since its establishment, the TDDTF has been at the forefront of innovative programs and initiatives designed to assist both law enforcement and the general public in addressing the escalating opioid and drug epidemic. The Task Force’s motto is "Protect, Enforce, and Educate."

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with a panel of experts from law enforcement, intelligence, prevention, and mental health fields. They will learn how to collaborate effectively with various state and local agencies and organizations to develop sustainable programs across the state.

The program will highlight successful statewide initiatives led by the TDDTF, including the quarterly Pill Take Back response, the Drug Endangered Children Alliance, the Handle with Care notification system, mobile drug testing for law enforcement agencies, the intelligence and overdose reporting system, and comprehensive training and education programs.

Participants will gain practical strategies and insights into implementing the TDDTF model within their own communities at both the state and local levels.
