The Essential Guide to Prescription Stimulants and Non-Stimulant Therapies

This session will explore the psychopharmacology of stimulants, looking at their mechanism of action, review the list of approved medications within this category. While prescription stimulants are a strong tool for providers treating ADHD, it is important to understand the alternative forms of care available. Non-stimulant treatment options for ADHD will also be explored.
