Mary Martin, BSN, RN, CWS, is a board-certified wound specialist with twenty years of nursing experience dedicated to improving wound care quality and patient outcomes. Her career spans multiple leadership roles, including Director of Nursing and Senior Skin Health Team Lead supporting wound programs across multiple long-term care facilities. As the Clinical Quality Lead at Tissue Health Plus, Mary helped design and refine mobile wound-care technology to strengthen documentation, consistency, and clinical decision support at the bedside.

Today, Mary serves as a Nursing Instructor at West Virginia Junior College and as a Patient Advocate and Consultant through Mary Martin Consulting, LLC. She also co-chairs the PAWSIC Education Committee, where she supports national education initiatives in wound and skin integrity. Mary’s work continues to focus on empowering clinicians, supporting technology-enabled care, and advancing patient-centered wound management
