Dr. Philip Hemphill is the Chief Clinical Officer at All Points North. He’s practiced as a clinician, manager, consultant, executive leader, and board member for the past 30 years. He’s considered a thought leader in the behavioral health/addiction industry and has developed premier national programs for the evaluation, treatment, and monitoring of professionals with these needs. He has been the lead person for innovation and implementation for patient care services, policies and procedures, recruitment of talent, and fidelity measures. He’s pioneered some of the assessment and treatment of licensed professionals with co-occurring disorders and co-authored a book with Marty Martin, PhD in 2013 entitled, Taming Disruptive Behavior published by American Association for Physician Leadership Press. His second book Integrated Care in Addiction Treatment (2022) , is published by Routledge Press. Currently, he’s an editor for Frontiers in Public Health: SUD and Behavioral Addictions.
He has taught at Tulane University and LSU Health Sciences, Department of Psychiatry for the past 25 years. He received his master and doctoral degrees from Tulane University, School of Social Work.
