The Official Meeting of Wounds
Dr. Song Hu received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University and Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. His current research focuses on the development of photoacoustic and optical technologies for high-resolution structural, functional, metabolic, and molecular imaging in vivo. Dr. Hu has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles. His publications, including the 4th and 6th most cited articles in the Journal of Biomedical Optics since 2009 and the 5th most cited article in Optics Letters since 2007, have accumulated over 16,000 citations. Dr. Hu is a recipient of the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award (2014), the National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (NSF CAREER) Award (2018), and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Frontiers of Imaging Award (2020).
