Dr. Richey grew up in the southwestern United States in both Texas and Arizona. She has been heavily involved in academics throughout her career – both as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Faculty at Midwestern University, part of the Leadership committee for AO North America Education Task Force and as a prior residency program attending at the Kaiser SF Bay Area Program. Dr. Richey has worked in several different practice environments, including private and large organizational settings; serving in both inpatient and outpatient care roles, including trauma and elective reconstructive surgery. She is dual Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both Rearfoot Reconstruction and Forefoot Surgery. She is active in the community as part of the Medical Advisory Board for PICA, continued medical education events, and participates with Grant funded clinical and academic research.
