Rob Fraser is a nurse scientist and healthcare innovation leader specializing in the application of artificial intelligence and digital imaging to advance wound care practice. As Acting Chief Product Officer at Swift Medical and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Western Univeresity, he directs the development of AI-powered wound assessment technologies used by healthcare systems across North America.
Mr. Fraser has authored over 17 peer-reviewed publications, 1 book, two book chapters, and more than 55 peer-reviewed conference abstracts spanning AI, big data analytics, and digital wound care. His book, The Nurses’ Social Media Advantage, received the American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Award. His current research focuses on computer vision for wound measurement, predictive analytics, and product development for clinical decision support.
Mr. Fraser bridges clinical practice and technology development with a background that includes frontline nursing, product commercialization, and regulatory strategy for FDA submissions. He holds certifications as a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) Canada and is WOCC(C) certified through the Canadian Nurses Association.
