Nicholas Cassel graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology. He then went on to earn his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville Tennessee. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants as well as being a certified wound specialist by the American Board of Wound Management.

Nicholas worked previously in neurosurgery in Duluth, Minnesota before joining the surgical team at May River Dermatology under the supervision of Dr. Sarradet.

He is a former Navy Hospital Corpsman, and completed two combat tours overseas, one with the Marine Corps. In his free time, Nic enjoys going on adventures, wood working, dungeons and dragons, warhammer 40k, and spending time with his cat,
