Dr. Teng is a professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine. She is also the chief of pediatric dermatology and director of fellowship training program. Dr. Teng’s has a special clinical and research interests in rare genetic skin disorders as well as inflammatory skin diseases. Her translational research focuses on understanding the pathogenesis of genetic diseases and targeted therapy discovery, especially via drug repurposing. She has been the lead investigator for more than 50 clinical trials and served as medical advisor for multiple rare disease patient support groups and foundations.
She has published many book chapters and more than 120 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Teng has also served many leadership roles in the Society of Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatric dermatology Research Alliance and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
